Retirement of epost™ service

1.What’s happening with epostTM?

Canada Post will be ending its epostTM service in 2022. Your last epostTM statement will be sent to you in October 2022. Moreover, all mail in your epostTM mailbox will be deleted at the end of December 2022. In the meantime, if you wish to keep your current epostTM statements on file, you can download, save or print your statements. For more information, see Canada Post's Frequently Asked Questions.

You will receive your first Laurentian Bank eStatement via LBCDirect in November 2022.

2.When will I receive my last epostTM statement?

Your last epostTM statement will be sent to you in October 2022.

3.What does this mean for Laurentian Bank customers currently using epostTM?

No action is required from you at this time. Laurentian Bank will continue to produce eStatements and other documents starting November 2022. We will update you regarding changes to eStatements delivery.

4.I had to sign up for epostTM to avoid the $3 statement fee. How will this work?

You will continue to receive Laurentian Bank eStatements starting November 2022 via online banking with LBCDirect. Rest assured, we will notify customers before November 2022 about how these statements will be delivered. Should we experience delays in deploying our new solution, your statements will be temporarily sent to you in paper format. In this case, we will not apply the $3 fee.

5.How will I receive my statements after epostTM is discontinued?

Laurentian Bank will continue to offer eStatements once epostTM is discontinued. Details on how to access these statements will be sent later this year. In the meantime, if you wish to keep your current epostTM statements on file, you can download, save or print your statements before the end of December 2022.

6.How do I save my current epostTM statements in my personal files?
  1. Log in to your LBCDirect account.
  2. Select “Messages”. Select “Log in to epost account”.
  3. Log in to your epost account to download or print the statements.

If you require support logging in to your epost account, contact Canada Post at 1-877-376-1212.

We will contact you later this year regarding changes and updates to Laurentian Bank eStatements. For any questions on epostTM, please refer to the FAQs on the Canada Post website.

8.What will happen to my account and mail if I take no action?

After December 31st, 2022, access to epostTM will no longer be available. We encourage you to print or download your current eStatements to your personal files. For more information, please refer to the epostTM FAQs on the Canada Post website.

9.Is there any difference between epostTM and the new eStatements?

You will continue to receive Laurentian Bank eStatements starting November 2022 through our online banking service, LBCDirect. We will keep you informed of our new statement system and how this will impact your banking habits.

10. I didn't sign up for epostTM, should I sign up now?

ePostTM is no longer available for enrollment. You can opt-in to Laurentian Bank eStatements starting November 2022 via LBCDirect. More information on how to enroll will be provided later this year.
