Laurentian Bank receives an OCTAS award under the banner of a competition organized by the IT ACTION Network. The Bank is recognized in the Infrastructure category for its workstation virtualization project carried out in collaboration with a team of professionals from the Canadian multinational firm CGI.

Corporate Awards/Distinctions

Laurentian Bank is ranked among the 2014 edition of the Montréal’s Top Employers competition, which showcases the city’s top 25 companies offering enviable places to work. Created in 2006, the competition is an initiative of the Toronto publishing house, Mediacorp Canada, which also produces the prestigious annual Canada’s Top 100 Employers ranking.

Laurentian Bank’s second generation financial services boutique concept was recently recognized under the banner of Chain Store Age magazine’s international Retail Store of the Year competition. More specifically, the Bank received an honourable mention in the Service category (15,000 ft2 or less).

Laurentian Bank was once again ranked by Corporate Knights among the 10 Canadian organizations with the highest level of female representation on their Boards of Directors. Active in the media, research and financial products, Corporate Knights is an organization focused on quantifying and animating “clean” capitalism, and on providing information empowering markets to foster a better world from a social and ecological standpoint.

Laurentian Bank is among the 10 national winners of Knightsbridge Strategic Talent’s Canada’s Passion Capitalists program. This program pays tribute to organizations that have earned sustained success through the promotion of passion within their ranks and that have harnessed the energy, intensity and perseverance required to achieve superior results.

The Corporate Knight organization ranked Laurentian Bank among the top 10 Canadian enterprises with respect to female representation on their Boards of Directors.

The Bank was a finalist in the Proactive Human Resources Management category of the Les Mercuriades business competition organized by the Québec Federation of Chambers of Commerce.

Stéfanie Pelletier, Vice-President of Finance at Laurentian Bank, received the Aces of Finance Award presented by the Québec section of FEI (Financial Executives International) Canada.

Laurentian Bank was among the winners of the Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures competition (Québec and Atlantic Canada region) presented by the Waterstone Human Capital human resources firm.

The organization was ranked as the second major Canadian bank with respect to retail client satisfaction according to the latest survey conducted by J.D. Power.

The Bank was recognized for a third consecutive year as the second most admired banking institution among Québecers according to the results of a Léger Marketing survey published in the monthly Les Affaires.

The Bank’s Pickyourmoment.ca multimedia campaign was recognized as one of the top three Canadian media strategies in the Financial Products and Services category under the banner of the Media Innovation Awards.

Laurentian Bank Chairman of the Board, Mr. L. Denis Desautels, was honoured by the Québec Order of Chartered Accountants with a Tribute Award to underline his exceptional contributions as an exemplary builder.

The Bank was recognized for a second consecutive year as the second most admired banking institution among Québecers according to the results of a Léger Marketing survey published in the monthly Les Affaires.

Laurentian Bank was the recipient of an OCTAS Award in the IT project Management category for its Evolution Chip Card project. Organized by the IT ACTION Network, this competition recognizes the best accomplishments within Québec’s information technologies sector.

2009

The Bank was inducted into the Québec Federation of Chambers of Commerce’s Québec Business Hall of Fame, which pays tribute to enterprises that have significantly marked the last century through their ability to consistently remain a leader and their contribution to the province’s development in Canada and abroad.

Laurentian Bank was named one of the 20 Best Corporate Citizens in Québec, a listing prepared by the Responsible Investment Group on behalf of Sustainable Vision. The Bank was recognized in particular for its transparency.

Laurentian Bank was recognized as the second most admired banking institution among Québecers according to the results of a Léger Marketing survey published in Commerce Magazine.

The Bank received an award at the ÉLIXIR Gala organized by PMI (Project Management Institute)-Montréal in recognition of project management excellence. The Bank earned this distinction in the Information Technology and Communication category for its M.E.T.R.O. technological environment modernization and operational enhancement project.

The organization was a finalist in the Québec Federation of Chambers of Commerce’s Les Mercuriades business competition in the Market Development category.

François Desjardins, President and CEO of Laurentian Bank’s B2B Trust subsidiary, received an Arista Award in the Young Québec Executive category. Presented by the Young Chamber of Commerce Montréal, this distinction underlines the contribution of young executives within the ranks of an enterprise or public, para-public, community or non-profit organization.

2007

Corporate Awards/Distinctions

Laurentian Bank’s Internet site was ranked third among the top 25 electronic commerce sites in Québec according to the SECOR-Commerce Internet Index (Commerce Magazine).

The Bank’s La Banque de ma maison microsite (www.labanquedemamaison.ca), which focuses on the four major steps involved in buying a home in a simple and refreshing manner, was recognized during the Digital Marketing Awards. This annual event honours the best interactive marketing productions in Canada.

The La Banque de ma maison microsite was also recognized in the B2C – Large Enterprise Internet Sites category at the Boomerang Gala, which pays tribute to the best interactive communications in Québec.
