Our commitment to support you financially

Laurentian Bank Financial Group (LBCFG) is committed to supporting its personal and business customers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since everyone’s situation is unique, we will work to find solutions on a case-by-case basis, and customers may be eligible for relief measures including mortgage interest deferrals for up to 3 months and personal loans.

Relief Measures for Personal Customers [-]

Payment deferral for 3 months

We invite personal customers who are having difficulty making payments on their loans, mortgages or other credit products to contact us. As everyone’s situation is unique, we will carefully review on a case-by-case basis and relief measures may be available– such as mortgage and personal loans capital and interest deferrals for up to 3 months.

In addition, no fees will be charged for payment deferrals or for debit card transactions that are refused due to insufficient funds.

Government support measure
Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) for Salaried and Self-Employed Workers [-]

Between March 15 and October 3, 2020, individuals who have lost their job due to the COVID-19 virus are entitled to receive temporary financial assistance from the Government of Canada. The benefit in the amount of $2,000 is deposited every four weeks into a bank account. This is equivalent to $500 per week over a maximum period of 16 weeks.

Our branches located in a shopping mall are temporary closed. In addition, the opening hours to visit a branch have been reduced to between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. across the entire network.
